Introduction
This stylish holiday home is situated in the heart of St Merryn; a small village that is the gateway to many small coves along the north coast of Cornwall. This modern, detached home is only a short, gentle walk away from the village amenities.
On the ground floor, the door opens to a bright corridor that provides access to a warm lounge area through a glass door on the left and a through a glass door on the right lies a spacious, open kitchen and living area. This living area spreads onto a stunning dining area surrounded by glass doors to the garden. The outside area boasts a large, sheltered dining area on the patio, that loops around to a beautifully green garden area. This area is enclosed making it the perfect place for dogs to enjoy, as you are more than welcome to bring them with you to Waterhouse.
Up the stairs to the first floor there are three bedrooms awaiting. The first of these is a large double room accompanied with a modern ensuite. There is also another smaller double room as well as a room with two single beds, which is perfect for children. After walking up the third set of steps you are welcomed into the phenomenal master bedroom, that also has access to another modern ensuite. This room catches the sunlight all day long with its dazzling windows and opens to a balcony that provides amazing views of vast, rolling, green countryside and the distant sea.

The village of St Merryn is perfectly located between a series of beautiful beaches: Harlyn (2 miles), Treyarnon Bay (2 miles), Porthcothan (2 miles) and Mother Ivy’s Bay (2 miles). Every beach offers something for everyone, whether you’re learning to surf at Harlyn or enjoying the sun at the picturesque Mother Ivy’s Bay. The village itself offers many amenities that include a pub, restaurant, convenience store and bakery. The pub (The Cornish Arms) belongs to Rick Stein and offers a wide variety of his take on “pub food”. As well as this the award winning Trevose Golf Club is just a mile away, for those seeking the opportunity to use one of England’s most prestigious golf courses.
A short, five minutes, drive away is Padstow; a picturesque harbour town, that’s winding streets hide a plentiful number of pleasant surprises. This bustling town offers a vast variety of food from Rick Stein’s fine dining restaurants to fresh homemade pasties. If you’re feeling adventurous you could catch a sea life safari from the harbour or enjoy scenic views of the estuary cycling to Wadebridge for lunch along the flat Camel Trial

Layout
Waterhouse is laid over three floors. On the ground floor there is a lovely family room, an open plan room with a modern kitchen, dining table and sofa, then there is a spacious separate sitting room, both have doors out to the garden. There is also a downstairs cloakroom.
The house offers four bedrooms in total.
On the first floor there is one double room with an en-suite shower room, a second double bedroom, a smaller room with two single beds and a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.
The master room is on the second floor, a beautiful bright room with a king size bed and en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Parking
Outside there is a private parking space for one car in front of the garage. Families with more than one car can find further places to park within a moment’s walk of the house.
