There is also a ferry available from the harbour that can take you across the estuary to Rock and Daymer Bay where you enjoy the golden stretching beaches and sand dunes.

For the foodies, Padstow offers a great range to suit each unique palette. For a fine dining experience, the town is the home of Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth and boasts a series of their establishments. But, if you’re looking for something quick to grab Padstow offers a huge range of freshly made pasties as well as fish and chips, that can be enjoyed sat by the harbours edge.

Or perhaps you’re searching for the perfect waves, Padstow is only 4 miles away from Harlyn and 15 miles from Polzeath. Both great locations offer an array of surf lessons, for any ability level, as well as a whole host of other water sports, such as coasteering.
